Looking for a delicious healthy treat? Instead of reaching for that candy bar next time try these chocolate covered mandarins. They’re so good and this recipe using @cuties is quick and super simple. It’s also a fun thing to do with the kids.
Only 3 ingredients are needed.
- Dark Chocolate
- Sea Salt
Since I love @ghiradelli chocolate I went with these dark chocolate squares.
Once you’ve unwrapped the chocolates pop them in the microwave for about 30 seconds. Take them out and stir, then pop back in for about another 30 seconds or so, until the chocolate is completely melted.
Peel your @cuties and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Dip your @cuties in the melted chocolate and then lightly sprinkle with sea salt.
Once all your mandarins have been dipped in chocolate and sprinkled with sea salt put them in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes to harden.
After 10 minutes Voila! They’re ready to eat. These little treats are so good and on the healthier side.
