Mandara Spa Visit at the Grand Californian

Today I checked one more Disney item off my bucket list: a spa treatment at the Mandara Spa. The spa is located inside the beautiful Grand Californian hotel at the Disneyland Resort. I love the wonderful California National Park theming of the hotel. The lobby is one of my favorite spots to sit, relax, and just enjoy the ambiance. Oh, and I can’t forget that wonderful piano playing in the background while the fire is going. It’s the best.

Manadara Spa is a full service spa described as a touch of Bali at the Disneyland Resort.

If you’re looking to unwind then Mandara Spa is a great place to relax and get pampered. They offer a wide range of facials, massages and salon services. To view the full menu click here.

They also offer a relaxation lounge for men and women. They have separate men’s and women’s sauna, steam and changing facilities.

I enjoyed a relaxing 50 minute customized massage and loved it. My masseuse was focused and attentive throughout the duration of the treatment. I’ll share how you can get pampered and save some money as I did.

Since I’m always looking for a great deal I found one on Groupon (click here) . My treatment was only $99.00. This particular deal is only available until the end of this month. However this deal does pop up quite often. You can always do a search on Groupon  for “Disney Massage”. That’s how I found mine. I’ve seen them on the Livingsocial website as well. They also offer AP discounts.

On your way out you can grab a couple of spa themed souvenir buttons which are free and always fun.

My cons are that the spa itself is quite small compared to other spas I have visited. You are also not provided access to a pool or courtyard which is common at other resorts. Overall I had a relaxing afternoon. If you’re looking to do something a little special for yourself I would recommend a day at the parks and a massage. Or just a massage and lunch like I did. A spa day is always fun when you’re at the happiest place on earth.

As always, thank you for stopping by.
