Pixar Fest Afternoon Tea at the Disneyland Hotel

Afternoon tea anyone? I spent a wonderful afternoon at Steakhouse 55 enjoying some delicious tea and adorable pastries that are Pixar themed. I’ve got all the details for you and I’ll share them with you here.

From now until September 3rd you can enjoy an afternoon tea at the Disneyland Resort that is fun and delicious. There are scones, salads, tea sandwich’s, and pastries such as the one’s pictured below.

The afternoon tea is at Steakhouse 55 a lovely restaurant with an old classic Hollywood feel. I love looking around at all the amazing photos of celebrities from that era and classic photos of Walt such as this photo in the entry way.

Dates and times available to book are Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 12pm to 3pm. Click here to book.

You can choose from three pricing options:

(tax and gratuity not included)

  • Premium Tea Party
    $65.00 Adult
  • Classic Tea Party
    $52.00 Adult
  • Kid’s Tea Party
    $35.00 Children (3 – 9 years old)

I chose the classic tea option. You can choose the premium option which comes with sparkling wine (sparkling cider if you prefer non alcoholic), a salad, and a Remy straw to take home. Al la carte tea infused cocktails are available to purchase as well.

Once you have decided on the tea party price option of your choice you then get to choose a tea of your liking.

I decided to go with a delicious berry flavored tea called Mountain Berry. It has Saskatoon berries, red and black currants, raisins, and wild blueberries. It tasted just as delicious as it sounds!

You also get the fun crystal sugar sticks to go with your tea.

I absolutely love all the little Pixar touches Disney has incorporated into the decor. Below is a nice touch inspired by the movie UP. On other tables there were Nemo, Cars and Toy Story themed center pieces as well. I loved the UP piece best so my amazing waiter Charles was nice enough to swap one out for me 🙂

Now on to the food. Each food item is themed perfectly. You have your traditional scones but they are oh so good! The rainbow scone was inspired by the movie Inside Out and I loved it.

Now let’s talk about the spreads. You have Devonshire Cream which is my favorite and absolutely amazing! You also have some lemon curd and seasonal fruit preserves. All so delicious to enjoy with your scones.

Next up you have your tea sandwiches.

Roasted vegetable sandwich inspired by Ratatouille

Sweet Ginger Avocado sandwich inspired by the little green aliens – Toy Story

Cage free deviled egg inspired by Dory – Finding Nemo

Zesty Cream Cheese sandwich inspired by Merida – Brave

Below is a close up of each one.

The roasted vegetable sandwich was my favorite.

Now on to the adorable desserts.

Chocolate covered strawberry – inspired by the movie UP

Cheesecake – inspired by the movie Ratatouille

Black Marmalade Cupcake –  inspired by the movie Monsters Inc

Eclair with peanut butter and grape jelly inspired by the movie UP.

Chocolate covered strawberry inspired by the movie UP was probably my favorite dessert.

Overall I enjoyed my afternoon tea time at the Disneyland Hotel. Everything was beautiful and tasty. I would definitely grab some gal pals, your significant other or even your little ones and enjoy an afternoon of fun.  Remember to book early since these time slots fill up quickly.

As always, thanks for stopping by!
