Easter & Disneyland Resorts  Egg-Stravaganza 2018

Spring is here and it’s that time of year again. Time for beautiful flowers around the hub, magical spring time window displays down Mainstreet, springtime balloons, Easter eggs and bunnies. Lets get started with all the fun happenings at Disneyland Resort.

Pictured are this years choices of eggs to purchase.

Ok first things first. Disneylands Egg- Stravangaza! This is a fun activity for both kids and adults. It begins today Friday March 16 and goes through to April 1st. Disney will offer the scavenger hunt at (3) locations. Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure and Downtown Disney. There will be select merchandise locations at the parks where you can purchase a map and stickers for $5.99 (plus tax). AP discounts do apply 🙂 .

You’ll go around and search for hidden themed eggs at the location of your choice. Once you find the eggs you place the corresponding sticker on the map to represent that location. You do have the option to not hunt for the eggs (but that’s no fun). If you choose not to egg hunt all you have to do is return your map to a redemption location for your themed egg. The eggs are all the same for all locations.

Redemption locations will be as follows: Disneyland – Disney Showcase on Mainstreet, DCA – Elias & Co. Downtown Disney – World of Disney. Please note that purchasing limits do apply. Also they do tend to sell out of certain eggs quicker than others. It is while supplies last.

Now the FUN SURPRISE is that this years eggs do have a special treat inside. I purchased the Belle Easter egg and got a Lumiere sticker. Love this simple yet fun treat!

Overall Disneys egg stravaganza is a fun must do for everyone! If you have the time I would definitely recommend it.

Now off to the subject of Easter goodies 🙂  Every year Disney brings back the delicious chocolate Easter eggs. These can be found at Candy Palace on Mainstreet. There are different fillings such as peanut butter, chocolate nut fudge, vanilla nut, black walnut, and one with a chocolate cream. YUMM!! These eggs take about two days to make so they are prepped with lots of Disney magic. Also coming back this year are the Easter cake pops.

Easter candied apples are available too!

Delicious Easter themed rice krispy treats!

Now off to some merchandise. Pins Pins Pins. Disney released some adorable LE Easter Pins. These can be found throughout the parks. Scroll down to see more.

These are all the fun happenings at Disneyland resort! Hope you can make it to the parks soon! Thanks for stopping by to read my first blog post 🙂
